Choosing the right type of paper for your invitation and choosing the most suitable printing method are of fundamental importance for the creation of your participation and the coordinated wedding. The choice of paper is not only an aesthetic question but above all functional because the enhancement of the design and all the graphic elements through the printing process depends on this choice. Therefore, the choice of paper and the printing method must be made with great care.
Here you will find all the different types of paper and printing techniques for your wedding invitations and stationery.

Printing Methods

The choice between the available methods

Digital Printing

It allows you to print a wide range of colors and shades with precision and fidelity, ideal for printing colored graphics or watercolors.

You can choose from many print colors.

  • Digital Printing Colored Paper, Parchment and Natural Paper

Letterpress printing

Letterpress printing or typographic printing creates a visual and tactile impression of impact through pressure on the paper, creating a bas-relief that can also be colored, giving an original and unique look.
Not suitable for colored and gradient graphics. It is possible to print a single color in solid color or two and it can also be a dry print, without the use of color.
There are two types of dry printing, embossing
or embossing or printing impressed into the paper.

Hot stamping

Hot stamping or Foil printing
It is based on two fundamental aspects: pressure and heat. Through a sheet, called cliché, temperature and pressure the engraving is transferred onto paper. The printing material is called foil which gives a brilliant and sophisticated final effect.

White ink is suitable for printing on dark papers or translucent paper making it very elegant and refined.

1. SMOOTH CARDS

  • COLOURED PAPER - 270 gr - 25 Colours Smooth and matt paper, ideal for digital and hot printing.
  • MATT TRANSLUCENT PAPER - 100/210 gr Smooth semi-transparent paper, ideal for digital and hot printing.
  • PARCHMENT PAPER - 190 gr - 7 Colors Cloudy, smooth paper, ideal for digital printing.

2. EMBOSSED CARDS

  • MARKED PAPER - 200/300/350 gr - 3 Colours Embossed, marked and rough paper, ideal for digital printing.
  • RULED PAPER - 240 gr - 2 Colours available Ruled paper with a linear texture, ideal for digital printing.
  • LINEN PAPER - 250 gr - 2 Colours available Paper with a "linen effect" texture, ideal for digital printing.

3. NATURAL CARDS

  • NATURAL PAPER - 120/250 gr - 6 Colors Recycled paper. The natural color highlights the presence of cellulose "splinters" on the surface. Ideal for digital printing.

4. HANDCRAFTED CARDS

  • COTTON PAPER - 250 gr - 14 colors available, digital printing with 250gr paper. 300 gr - 6 colors available, Letterpress printing and hot printing with 300gr paper. 100% natural fiber paper, obtained from cotton, rough, imperfect and with jagged edges.
  • AMALFI PAPER - 200/340 gr based on the 6 colours 100% natural fibre paper, obtained from cotton, linen or hemp, rough, imperfect and with jagged edges, ideal for digital printing.

You can completely customize your Wedding Suite by choosing the type of paper, the printing method, the calligraphic font, the color, the envelope and the accessories that you like the most. You can order your invitations and design the elements that will make up the Graphic Coordinate (Menu, Table Cards, Mass Booklets, etc.) at a later time.
